Structured water or miracle water?

Clean, natural water is a fundamental need for human beings, animals, plants and our ecosystem. In terms of what you need to survive, water is truly at the top of the list. It is a life-giving substance that we all need to put in our bodies every single day in order to go on living. In some organisms, up to 90 percent of their total body weight is made up of water, while in the human body; the number is close to about 60 percent water.

Drinking clean water every day benefits us in many ways. As a developing nation, we’re lucky to have access to plenty of clean drinking water. But has anybody thought how healthy is our water? Compared to the type of water that our ancestors drank thousands of years ago, the water coming out from faucets or from store-bought plastic bottles might fail in comparison.

According to certain theories, the water hasn’t been filtrated, mechanically cleaned or processed in any way and thus may hold ‘energy’ in it.

So what is the new buzz going around about ‘structured water’? Structured water is the water found in nature. It is soft, energised water with the original detached molecular structure, balanced pH, less surface tension, neutralised toxins and free of memory. Rain water is considered the purest form of water as it is refreshed, energised by the natural action prevalent in the atmosphere.

Studies prove that structured water is the next best treatment for muscular, skin and mood disorders. Hence, many people refer to it as miracle water.

Structured water has a higher level of electrical charges and thus it helps us cells function. When our cell’s water molecules are optimally charged, it can potentially impact how the muscles and tissues throughout our bodies work. But when the water is mechanically filtered, treated with chemicals and contaminated with various pollutants, the structure changes and therefore the water loses some of its healing benefits.

Certain research studies also prove that structured water might have optimal pH that is crucial to health. Structured water is said to benefit:

  • Energy levels

  • Digestion and regularity

  • Enzymes that help with nutrient absorption

  • Concentration

  • Muscle contractions

  • Positive moods

  • Ability to sleep well

  • Blood pressure and cholesterol levels

  • Respiration

  • Endurance

  • Weight control

  • Kidney and liver health

  • Joint health

In the market today, you will find water structuring units available. Apart from that, other forms of structured water include fresh spring water, river water, and water from waterfalls.
